Valuation Games is the culmination of about 15 years worth of personal experience and research. I've long had an interest in the role of perceptions when it comes to the game of business, along with the darker sides of commerce that are an inevitable part of that.

My professional background is pretty varied. I started out in options trading, then moved to software engineering, then into marketing and sales at the executive level. Most of my time is spent consulting businesses and investors on how to handle strategic complexity. When I'm not doing that, I'm on the mats training or coaching jiu-jitsu, reading or taking care of animals.

## Online Books

This book is part of a series of books I've created that are free and open to the world. Although I've written regular books, I find this format more interesting for the time being.

At the moment, I have two other online books:

* [Strategic Complexity](https://www.strategiccomplexity.com) - How to solve problems in complex, unpredictable environments.
* [The AI Survival Guide](https://www.aisurvival.org) - A guide for how to protect your livelihood from automation.
